Labor Day weekend racing on Lake Champlain.
The Port Henry Regatta is the marina's annual sailboat race, held on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. The fleet starts from the marina and runs a course on the open water of Lake Champlain. The day continues at the marina with food and fireworks once the boats are back at the dock.
Once the boats return to the dock, the marina hosts a barbecue on the lawn for marina members and regatta participants.
The Town of Port Henry sets off its Labor Day weekend fireworks display the same night from the lakefront immediately next to the marina. Members and guests have a clear waterfront view from the docks, the lawn, or aboard their boats.
Sailors interested in entering this year's race, or marina members planning to attend the post-race barbecue, should reach out to the marina.
